Each year, Peoples Bank awards seven $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors, who have demonstrated a commitment to community involvement, and plan on furthering their education. Winners are chosen anonymously based on their school activities, community involvement. and essay answers.

If you are a graduating high school senior in Carlisle, Chariton, Indianola, Knoxville, Pleasantville, Southeast Warren, Seymour, or Wayne High School, you are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship if you're planning on attending some form of additional schooling/training after graduation. This includes college, university, trade, and apprentice programs. To qualify, submit the form and essay requirement.
